- Do measure the space - bouncy castles need room for blowers, and room to move!
- Don't forget access - maybe it’s time to clear your side gate and save your carpets?
- Do listen to the safety brief - even if you have had a bouncer before.
- Do supervise the children - nobody wants an accident to spoil a party.
- Don't overload the bouncer - too many children can lead to accidents.
- Do watch the weather - even with a rain-cover the castle surface will become very slippery.
- Don't sneak adults on - it can damage the bouncer, leaving you with a big bill!
- Do let us know what time we can deliver/collect - especially if you are using a hall.
- Don't leave it to the last minute to hire - if the sun is shining everyone wants a bouncer!
- Tie balloons to the front door to guide guest's to the party.
- As you check off guests arriving at the party, get a contact number from parents who are not staying in case of emergencies.
- Leave a table spare to put the presents on to be enjoyed at the end, have extra bags so that you can carry the birthday gifts home easily.
- If you are doing your own games, plan well in advance and have more than you think you will need. Try to avoid elimination games for younger children - they all want to be winners and cry when they are 'out'. Stock up on prizes for the games.
- To charge the batteries for the camera / camcorder.
- Matches to light the candles, extra serviettes for the birthday cake and the cake itself!
- Kitchen roll and cloths for spillages, wipes for sticky hands and faces.
- Extra party bags for siblings who may stay unexpectedly and plenty of refuse sacks for all the rubbish!
