Answers:

When will your Inflatable arrive?
The Children’s Bouncy Castle Company will normally deliver your inflatable between 7am and 12pm & collect again between 5.00pm and 6.30pm. Approximate times will be agreed in advance. If you have booked a hall for your party we can accommodate special delivery times providing this is confirmed at time of booking.

Is it possible to keep the castles overnight?

Overnight hire can be arranged in certain circumstances for an additional fee of £20. However please remember our castles are for children only and NOT for adults.

What happens if it is raining?
We will call you the day / evening before the hire and discuss the weather forecast with you. If at this stage rain is expected you can cancel the hire without incurring a cancellation fee. If you decide to proceed with the hire but are unable to utilise the castle due to rain the full fee will be payable.

What about high winds?
For safety reasons we will not hire our castles in high winds.  If this should be the case no fee will be payable for the hire.

How much space do I need?

2ft extra either side of the inflatable & about 4 ft in front to make it easy to get on & off and 3 ft behind for the inflatable blower. The inflation tube needs to be fully extended when in use. If this castle has a slide you will need to allow an additional 6 ft to the stated width, you will also need to consider height of the castle.

Is your Inflatable clean?

Yes. We always clean our Inflatables after every hire. All we ask is that you make sure no one eats or drinks on the Inflatable, and if you do make a mess on the castles please just wipe it up afterwards.

What type of surface do I need?

Grass, on a level surface is the safest, We do not hire on tarmac or concrete for safety reasons.

Is the equipment safety tested?
Yes. All our Inflatable have current safety certificates and the blowers & extension leads are tested. We provide RCD plugs when needed.

Are you insured?

Yes. We are fully insured for £1,000,000 Public liability cover and copies of the insurance certificate can be supplied on request.

Can you deliver with no side entrance and take the castle through the house?

Only if the castle is 12ft x 10ft and provided someone is available to help with the lifting. Bouncy castles are often bigger and heavier than most people expect, and so to move them we use large sack trucks. Unfortunately if it should rain, water can get inside the Inflatable and this tends to drain out whilst being removed, sometimes on your carpet!

Can you get up a flight of steps?

No. Because of the size and weight of the Inflatable we cannot cope with a flight of step’s, but one or two step’s are achievable.

How does the castle stay up?

We use electric blowers, which stay on all the time the Inflatable is in use, and we provide up to 25 meters of extension lead.

How much electricity is used in a day?
Approximately 80p.

What happens after I have booked a castle?
You will receive written confirmation of the booking along with copies of the terms and conditions of hire, waiver of liability and safety instruction.  You will be asked to sign and return these when the castle is delivered.

How do I pay for the castle hire?

As a small family run business we only accept cash or cheques.  Cash can be paid at the time of delivery or you can pay by cheque provided it arrives with us 10 days prior to the hire. Alternatively we will accept a cheque on the day provided it is accompanied by a cheque guarantee card.
